Discoveries in Science and Technology in recent years have a great impact on our society. Almost everybody uses technology at work, home, or school.
Because of the new discoveries, we are now able to communicate easier with the use of the Internet and cellular phones. Our works would easily be done because of the development of better materials, equipments, and other things. We have found ways to replace damaged body parts through prostheses and replace malfunctioned body organ through organ transplants. People are now finding and developing new medicine to treat fatal diseases. Scientists use all sorts of technology to study the Earth and the Universe.
But despite of many advantages of Science and Technology to our lives there are also disadvantages that would affect human being and other living things. These newly invented things can be easily manipulated by irresponsible persons that may result to unexpected disaster.Because of these, we'll be too dependent on it resulting for us to be lazy and easy-go-lucky persons. Sometimes, it affects our health and lifestyle because of over-using the high-tech things, taking too much medicines and applying some of it directly to the body in order to be more physically attractive, and specially when somebody would not consult a specialist before the application. It also damages our natural environment because of the negligence of some users. New technology is naturally destroys our simple and healthy life, because we even don't notice how it spread easily and widely to our society and we now forget some of the traditional way of living.
